The Help Me Read™ Student Booklet is used to track the student's progress throughout the program. It will follow the student from Kindergarten through the 3rd grade. Pretest scores, intervention activities, and specific comments concerning a student's reading progress are recorded in the booklet.

The student booklet is a great reading portfolio. It is beneficial to use at parent-teacher conferences to show student's reading strengths and weaknesses. An additional benefit to the classroom teacher is that it provides a quick overview of a student's reading history from the previous grade levels.

After the initial year of using the Help Me Read™ program, additional student booklets will only need to be purchased for incoming Kindergarten students and a few extras for new students who move in to other grade levels.
